RAM Group is a leading developer and distributor of customized risk assessment software. Our various software products include Risk Based Corrective Action (RBCA) computational software, Risk Based Corrective Action (RBCA) report forms, and Charting software.
RBCA computational software: Our software has been used as (i) a powerful educational tool to understand the process of Risk Based Corrective Action (RBCA) worldwide and (ii) to perform/check site-specific risk calculations. The Excel based computational software incorporates user friendly interface, prints report-ready input and output tables, and performs the following computations:
1. Estimates Risk-Based Target Levels for several chemicals, human receptors, and routes of exposures. Latter include the calculation of soil vapor target levels, calculation of soil and groundwater concentrations protective of the groundwater use, and protective of surface water. This is referred to as the Backward Mode of calculation.
2. Estimates the individual excess lifetime cancer risk (IELCR) and hazard quotient (HQ) for several chemicals, human receptors, and routes of exposure based on user input representative concentrations. This is referred to as the forward mode of calculation.

RBCA report forms: RAM Group has designed and developed RBCA forms for several of these states to streamline the process of documenting site-specific RBCA evaluations. The RBCA forms are user friendly and help the user to document the risk assessment calculations in a consistent and cost effective format as per the state specifications. The forms also include the default input parameters, the various scenarios to be considered for the site conceptual models, and the comparisons of representative concentrations with Tier 1 target levels.
Charting Software: The charting software has been designed to include statistical analysis of the input data and plots of six parameters vs. time on a single page in report ready format. This tool is particularly useful to observe correlations between chemical concentrations and water level fluctuations with time. It accounts for any missing data, phase separated hydrocarbons (PSH) and non-detect (ND) values. The charting software takes the drudgery out of plotting and produces excellent graphs in a very time and cost efficient manner.
