Senior Level Professionals
Risk Assessment & Management (RAM) Group, Inc., a small, dynamic, internationally recognized consulting firm specializing in risk-based decision making is seeking senior level professionals to (i) service our existing clients, (ii) participate in several challenging projects, (iii) actively participate in the growth of the firm, and (iv) market and win major projects.
The selected candidate would work with an interdisciplinary team of accomplished engineers, geologist, toxicologist, and other scientists located in Houston, Texas, who provide Site Characterization, Risk Assessment/Evaluation, Statistical Analysis, Environmental Fate and Transport Modeling, Corrective Action Planning, Risk Management, Litigation Support/Expert Testimony, Training, and Regulatory Closure services.
RAM Group specializes in risk-based evaluations and risk management activities leading to site-effective regulatory closures and property redevelopment. The RAM Group has assisted several states, federal agencies and a few foreign countries in the establishment of risk-based corrective action policy and regulations. The RAM Group celebrates 10 years in business with experience on several major domestic and international projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Successfully manage projects and satisfy client needs;
- Utilize past experience, training and existing resources to development new service lines;
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to motivate junior staff to advance their careers and professional development;
- Actively market and develop long-term client relationships primarily in Texas;
- Successfully promote the company through client contacts, and networking; and
- Participate in the overall management and direction of the firm.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical background in an area related to the management of contaminated properties;
- Motivated, ambitious, resourceful self-starter with strong initiative, dedication, and integrity;
- Professional registrations preferred;
- 10 plus years of relevant consulting experience, including project management, business development, and technical leadership;
- Substantial client contacts in Texas and the Gulf Coast area;
- Demonstrated successful track record of winning projects and building an environmental consulting practice;
- Ability to work well with internal staff, clients, attorneys, government entities, and subcontractors in a fast-paced work environment; and
- Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, organizational, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills.

Junior Level Professionals
Risk Assessment and Management (RAM) Group, Inc. located in Houston TX, provides state-of-the-art services to private and public sector in the areas of environmental risk assessment and management, statistical analysis, fate and transport modeling, evaluation of natural attenuation, and litigation support. We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:
- Masters or bachelors degree in environmental/civil engineering, science, or a related quantitative field;
- Good computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel PowerPoint, Access;
- Good presentation skills;
- Excellent writing skills;
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of an integrated team to manage projects, deadlines, and budgets; and
- Prior consulting experience preferred, but not necessary.
